أكد معالي الدكتور تشيم يب، النائب الأول لرئيس الجمعية الوطنية لدى كمبوديا، على أهمية التعددية والتعاون والترابط البيئي في عالم اليوم في الجلسة العامة الثانية للجلسة العامة الحادية عشرة البرلمان الدولي للتسامح والسلام (IPTP).

وشارك في رئاسة الاجتماع سعادة إكناث داكال، عضو البرلمان عن نيبال ورئيس الرابطة الدولية للبرلمانيين من أجل السلام ومنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ (IAPP) والرئيس المشارك للمجلس العالمي للتسامح والسلام (GCTP) مارغريتا ريستريبو. قيادة المناقشات حول التحديات العالمية.

وقال رئيس مجلس الشيوخ إنه واصل ثقافة الحوار مع الأحزاب في كمبوديا لخلق الوئام وتعزيز الوحدة الوطنية وإرساء الديمقراطية. وأكد سامديتش أن محاضراته ستتمكن الآن من المساهمة في فهم أعمق لقيم السلام والصعوبات التي تواجه بناء السلام والوحدة والمصالحة الوطنية، وكذلك الصعوبات في الحفاظ على السلام طويل الأمد، خاصة بالنسبة للدول النامية . تعتبر محاضرة سامديتش أيضًا مدخلاً لبناء وثيقة "ميثاق السلام من أجل الإنسانية والكوكب" التي تحتوي على ٥ ركائز رئيسية: ١) منع الصراعات ٢) عملية بناء السلام والتنسيق الجيد ٣) العدالة الانتقالية ٤) البناء التعافي بعد الصراع والاستجابة للقضايا الإنسانية وقضايا الكوارث و٥) الأمن الغذائي والتنمية المستدامة استجابة لتغير المناخ.

Cambodia’s success story was presented as a model, demonstrating how unity and perseverance can lead to prosperity and development.

On the evening of November 23, 2024 at the Champey Hall of Sokha Hotel, Phnom Penh, Bureau Committee of the 11th General Assembly of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP11) conducted a meeting to prepare the working agenda for the 11th General Assembly IPTP under the chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Ahmed Bin Mohamed Aljarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP), together with H.E. Mr. Sous Yara, Chairperson of Committee on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Information and President of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace(IPTP) and Mrs. Margarita Restrepo, Chair of the General Assembly of GCTP.

The 11th General Assembly of the International Parliament for Peace and Tolerance (IPTP), hosted by Cambodia, was officially inaugurated on the morning of Sunday, 24 November 2024, at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel under the presidency of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Decho Hun Sen, President of the Senate; SamdechMoha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly; and Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, with the participation of nearly 400 national and international guests, including IPTP members from 53 countries and a number of partner organizations.

Phnom Penh, 24 November 2024 – Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, co-chaired the first meeting of the 11th Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) on Sunday. The Honorable Ahmed bin Mohamed Aljarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, co-chaired the meeting under the theme: “Advancing the Global Architecture of Peace, Peacebuilding, Reconciliation and Tolerance: Synergy of Governments, Parliaments and Civil Society.”

On the afternoon of 23 November 2024, Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei KHUON SUDARY, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, warmly welcomed the visit of (1) H.E. Mrs. Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman, Secretary General of ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), (2) H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary General of ASEAN, and (3) H.E. Dr. Dev Raj Ghimire, President of the Parliament of Nepal, on the occasion of their delegation to participate in the 11th General Assembly of Inter-Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP11) held from 23 to 26 November 2024.

has scheduled to host the 11th Plenary Session
of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace
(IPTP) in Phnom Penh on Nov. 23-26, according to its Secretariat.

The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan took part in the activities of the Parliamentary Conference with the theme “Interfaith Dialogue: Working Together for Our Common Future”, which is being held in Marrakech, Morocco, by the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco in collaboration with the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

A Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Work between the Gabonese National Council and the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, one of the bodies of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, was signed by His Excellency Mr./ Faustin Bokobe, President of the Gabonese National Council, and His Excellency Mr./ Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council.

His Excellency Ghazali Othmani , President Of The Union Of The Comoros , Received His Excellency Mr. Al-Zubayri Mohamed Ahmed , International President For Tolerance And Peace , He Was Accompanied By His Excellency Mustradouine Abdo , President Of The Assembly National Of The Comorian Union And His Deputies , In Order To Discuss Ways To Support The International Parliament For Tplerance And Peace .

The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace held the session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace in its tenth session, hosted by the Moroccan House of Representatives in the cities of Rabat and Dakhla, with the participation of more than 60 parliamentarians, representing various parliaments of the world, to discuss international developments related to tolerance and peace and ways to find solutions to the political, economic and security challenges the world is currently facing.
